Intramural Champions 2021-2022 fall banner

Since the pandemic, our students have eagerly awaited the return of the SRWC’s Intramural Sports. With fan favorites such as basketball and indoor volleyball leagues, over 1,000 members signed up for the start of the first intramural leagues and tournaments of the season. Many competitors came from near and far, but only a few can claim sweet victory.

Playa Larga FC took home the indoor soccer league victory, winning 6-2 and finishing undefeated.

In the return of our co-ed volleyball league, Tutti Frutti came out on top as they navigated one of the most competitive leagues of the semester.

The SG’s were the only team this semester, as they fought in a back-to-back competition, to successfully win the flag football championship in a 46-40 shootout.

The Lub Dubs squeaked out a victory and were crowned the co-ed basketball champions.

The Hala FC cruised to a victory as they finished undefeated.

Team Delta was able to navigate a shortened schedule and finish on top as our co-ed volleyball champions.

Semi-Pro proved all season that they were the best team in the league as they took home the open basketball championship.

Papas Fritas was finally able to secure the gold when they took care of business and finished undefeated in the 6v6 soccer league tournament.

Our Intramural Tournament champions featured some familiar faces as sharpshooter Justing Hwange once again won the 3-Point Shootout.

Travor Ly and Ashley Le finished strong winning the pickleball tournament.

The highly competitive badminton tournament finished with Thein Nhan Tran and Huy Nguyen as reigning champions.

This semester we had our biggest turnout to date, and we are hoping that the upcoming semester proves to be just as successful. Keep an eye out for sign-up dates as the new semester quickly approaches. Hope to see you there!
