If you’re bummed about losing access to the Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC) this semester, you’re not alone. The good news is that we’re lucky enough to live in an age where finding high-quality home workouts is as easy as, well, opening this article. We’ve put together a few websites and channels that are definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a way to keep up your routine from home.

  1. Fitness Marshall

    In his high-energy videos, Caleb Marshall, also known as the “Fitness Marshall,” takes the pop music hits you love and creates dances that will get you sweating in no time. If you’re a fan of goofy commentary and in-house dance parties, Caleb is your guy.

  2. Fitness Blender

    Fitness Blender is an easy-to-navigate website that provides exercise tutorials for all fitness levels. Not having exercise equipment won’t be a hurdle anymore – Fitness Blender’s large range of workouts will help you figure out exactly what you need to do to stay in shape. Use the filter option to narrow your search!

  3. Pop Pilates

    In Pop Pilates, Cassey Ho uses music as the backdrop for a wide variety of Pilates-like workouts. Her channel is full of quick, convenient exercise that will get you feeling it exactly where you need to. Whether you’re looking for a full body transformation or just a quick, targeted workout, Cassey does a great job of guiding and motivating you in an engaging way.

  4. CorePower Yoga

    CorePower Yoga provides an uplifting yoga series that will set your mind and body at ease. Their videos go beyond just meditative practice, though – with some high-quality strength-based workouts as well, their content is very well-rounded. Check them out for some free, professional-level guided workouts.

  5. The Honest Guys

    Let’s be honest, we could all use some guided meditation right now. Look no further than The Honest Guys for calm, peaceful and reassuring meditation that will loosen up your mind. Take a step back from the world and enjoy their blissful videos. It might be exactly what you need!

While we can’t use the SRWC at the moment, our bodies can still be maintained by following the instruction of these amazing fitness and meditation leaders. Check out their content and keep grinding no matter where you are!
