The Soccer Tennis tournament was one of the most popular events last year. Students asked for its return, and by popular demand, we listened. Now, Soccer Tennis is making a comeback—known for its fun mix of soccer juggling skills and tennis-style gameplay that allows participants of all skill levels to compete.
This year’s tournament will take place Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at the LBSU Athletics Tennis Courts, keeping the spirit of playing on a real court alive. This ensures clear boundaries, fair matches, and a more professional atmosphere for the competition.
As the last tournament of the semester, this event is the perfect opportunity for students to get active, unwind, and spend time with friends before finals begin. Because it’s completely FREE to join, anyone can sign up through the FusionPlay app. Instructions can be found on the SRWC website or through the provided link.
Soccer Tennis features duos working together to keep the ball in play using soccer touches while following tennis-style rules, making each match fast-paced and energetic. Students are encouraged to grab a friend, form a team, and jump in. It’s a fantastic way to close out the semester with one of the SRWC’s most beloved tournaments.
