Outdoor Adventure Trips give Long Beach State students the
opportunity to experience must-see destinations throughout Southern
California through hiking, camping, backpacking, surfing,
paddleboarding, bouldering and more.
Whether you're an experienced adventurer or trying an activity for
the first time, there’s a trip for you.
Food, equipment and transportation are provided for all trips.
Registration is available at the
SRWC Rock Wall
or through the
FusionGo app.
Please note: Mandatory pre-trip meetings are required for all
overnight trips. Participants must be able to swim for
paddleboarding and surfing trips.
Fall 2026 Trips
Strawberry Peak Hike
Date: Oct. 17 | 8 a.m.–evening
Difficulty: Moderate
Cost: Students $30 | Non-students $60
Lace up your hiking boots for a 7.5-mile trek to Strawberry
Peak, the highest point in the front range of the San Gabriel
Mountains. Take on the climb and enjoy incredible views from the
summit. Food and transportation are provided.
