Womxn and Ally Night is here to encourage new exercisers to pick up weights and start experiencing the many benefits of resistance training. Our certified personal trainers will coach you through a strength workout, help you debunk exercise myths and teach you about resistance training.

This event is open to all gender identities. Individuals that may require help acclimating to exercise are encourage to attend.

The Day I Finally Took a Break!

The first week I worked at Beach Balance, something happened that I still think about today. I was walking past one of our wellness rooms when I noticed a student curled up on the couch, fast asleep, backpack on the floor, headphones still in. At first, I worried something was wrong, but then I saw the slow, deep breathing and the relaxed face. They were just tired. Really tired.
