The instructional enrollment times are:

  • Fall Session 1 Starts 9/15 - 10/15
    Registration begins 8/25 at 8 a.m.
  • Fall Session 2 Starts 10/27 - 12/3
    Registration begins 9/22 at 8 a.m.

Instructional Classes are specialized fitness classes taught by professionals in the industry who may have more trainings and certifications than other instructors at the SRWC. These exclusive classes are reduced to a limited number of participants to create an environment that facilitates a learning outcome. Instructional Classes range from boxing to popular fitness regimes like the Pilates Reformer, and they are offered only to SRWC members at a nominal fee. Register now today on the SRWC GO App!

Elevate your fitness game when you dive deeper into movements that improve flexibility and strength! Pilates Reformer is a significant piece of pilates equipment that offers spring resistance to strengthen the body, all the while refining posture and balance. Incorporating both mat and reformer exercises, this class will reap the maximum benefits of pilates.
CSULB Students: $95/session
SRWC Member: $100/session

Boxing 101 (Beginner Boxing Class)

Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Embark on a journey to master the fundamentals of boxing with Boxing 101! With expert trainers to guide you through each step, you'll not only learn the basic punches, correct footwork and essential patterns of movement. But expect to see significant changes in your overall health and fitness! To participate, hand wraps are required and are available for purchase at the Pro Shop for $10.

Non-Students: $40

Intermedieate Boxing 101 (Beginner Boxing Class)

Days Times
Tuesday & Thursday 7:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
This class is designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of boxing and are looking to take their skills to another level. In this intermediate boxing class, you will build on the foundational skills you've learned in beginner classes, such as basic punches (jab, cross, hook, uppercut) and defensive maneuvers (slip, duck, parry).
CSULB Students: $40
SRWC Member: $45
Location: Fitness Room B
