The following membership categories are the campus community members who are eligible to use the CSULB Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC). All memberships are non-transferable.

Enrolled Students

Currently enrolled CSULB students are eligible to use SRWC facilities, as their membership has already been paid through the University Student Union fee.  Qualifying student status will be verified with the University as a condition of facility use.

Non-Enrolled Students

Non-enrolled continuing CSULB students are eligible to purchase a facility membership at the rate of $124 per semester and $94 in the summer.  Such memberships are available for a single non-enrolled academic term, provided the student’s status with the University is listed as “continuing,” and the non-enrolled academic term is immediately following their completion of a regularly enrolled academic term. Qualifying student status will be verified with the University as a condition of purchasing a facility membership.

CCPE/ALI/USB Students

If you are a currently enrolled CCPE or ALI student, you are eligible to purchase a rolling monthly membership of $37 per month.  This fee is only valid during the time of the student's enrollment.  The CPPE/ALI student must cancel before the 15th of the month in order to not be charged for the following month.

Faculty/Staff/Alumni

Registered CSULB alumni and currently employed CSULB university faculty and staff, are each eligible to purchase facility memberships at the rate of $407 annually or $37 per month. Verification of user category status may be required as a condition of purchasing a facility membership.  Staff members who work for University auxiliaries are eligible to purchase a rolling monthly membership only at $37 per month.  These auxiliaries include the Foundation Building, the Chancellor's Office, the Carpenter Center, and the 49'er Shops.

Volunteers

Volunteers who have University documentation that demonstrate contract status of a minimum of one year are eligible for an associate rolling monthly membership of $37 per month.

Donors

Donors who have given at least $5000 in a lifetime to CSULB or ASI are eligible for an affiliate rolling monthly membership of $42 per month. 

Sibling/Parent/Adult Child/Spouse/Domestic Partner

Siblings, parents, adult children 18 and over, spouses, or domestic partners of currently enrolled CSULB students, registered CSULB alumni, and currently employed CSULB University faculty and staff are eligible to purchase affiliate memberships at the rate of $462 annually or $42 per month. Qualifying status will be verified with the University as a condition of membership. Evidence of stated legal status (i.e. copy of official license or certification of domestic partnership from the Secretary of State Office) will be required as a condition of purchasing a facility membership.
